MBH Racing tasted success for the first time at Coffs Harbour this afternoon with the consistent Lock And Load taking out the Class 3 1315m handicap in good style.
The son of More Than Ready was perfectly ridden by local jockey in Ben Looker, (pictured), crossing from an outside gate to sit 2nd and then taking the lead at the top of the straight to score an easy victory.
Lock And Load will now head to the $85,000 Coff Harbour Cup on Thursday week where the horse looks a real light weight chance.
Congratulations must go to Lock And Load’s new owners in David Moon, the CWTC Syndicate and Mr Tang from Singapore.
Lock And Load has now won 3 races from 23 starts with a further 7 placings and is just shy of $100,000 in stake.
