Having her first start for MBH Racing, Wanted Lady proved far too strong for her rivals in the fourth event of the afternoon at Benalla.

The daughter of Wanted was previously trained by Mick Price at Caulfield  and is currently owned by his Racing Manager, Luke Wilkinson.

Luke decided to transfer the mare to MBH Racing as they were able to lease the horse from Luke and the country environment may just prove the trick to her winning a few races, and so be it!!!

Thanks to the generosity of both Mitch Beer and Max Hinton, they leased Wanted Lady to all the staff members at MBH so they had a ‘Xmas Bonus’ at the end of the year, and they certainly do now!!!

Wanted Lady raced in the colours of former Caulfield / Mornington trainer Mick Crawford as Mick helps out at the stable of a morning and has been a long time friend of Max.

Mick is not keeping the best of health at the moment but I’m sure this win in his colours was certainly what the doctor ordered.

Wanted Lady was perfectly ridden by Jordan Childs sitting third on the fence, taking the gap at the top of the straight and proving too strong on the line.

Let’s hope Wanted Lady can continue her winning run so the staff Xmas stocking is nice and full by the end of the year.

Well Done to everyone concerned!!!
