What a great start to 2017 for MBH Racing with the talented filly Go Gracey taking out the last race at Mornington this afternoon in fine style.

The daughter of Bel Esprit was having only her second start for the stable and made it 2 out of 2 with a very convincing victory.

Go Gracey had earlier won at Colac in mid December and quickly advanced from a maiden to a BM64 this afternoon showing both her trainer and jockey that she was city class.

It was a tough win by the filly as she faced the breeze and fought off all challengers in the straight to score with authority.

Jockey Ryan Maloney informed both Mitch Beer and Max Hinton that the filly had plenty of scope and still has plenty of improvement left in her.

This is a filly that has always shown above average ability and just needed sometime to work it all out.

Congratulations to Dean Humphries and Chris Dickinson from Clanbrooke who are on absolute fire at the moment and it was great to see such a large band of owners (about 50 people) cheering her home and being on track to enjoy the victory.

Go Gracey will now have a short let up and at this stage will head to Moonee Valley on Feb 17 for a 3YO fillies race.

We look forward to more exciting times at the track in 2017!
