What a fantastic night at Moonee Valley for MBH Racing with the ever consistent Gwenneth taking out the final event like a caged lion.

On what could only be described as a fairytale ending, MBH Racing were hosting 63 of their clients for dinner in The Lodge and scenes only seen fit for a Cox Plate could explain the excitement shared over the course where our dear Gwennie kept herself in front all the way down the straight to claim victory.

Sitting three wide for the entire trip, Gwenneth jumped straight to the front but was held out and Jake Noonan did a great job to keep her in rhythm, balanced and shot away at the top of the straight to claim victory.

In those now famous leopard print colours with her band of loyal owners, (mostly women), Gwenneth is now getting cult following in Victoria and she recived a rousing applause on returning to scale.

Managing owner and very close friend of MBH Steph Grentall is 8 months pregnant in South Africa and from what we have been told there was nearly an early arrival coming to the home turn.

Gwenneth is a model of consistency for her wonderful owners winning 3 races now from 10 starts with a further 4 placings and just shy of 80k in stake.

Gwenneth loves the short of 1000m but Jake Noonan does feel she will get 1200m and is in for a very strong and successful campaign.

A big congratulations to our co trainers in Mitch Beer and Max Hinton for doing a superb training job with the mare.

Thanks for everyone who attended last night and it was a highly successful evening with many shares being sold in our young band of horses and with two lucky owners winning $500 betting vouchers courtesy of Ladbrokes.

It may be Winx at Flemington today but Gwennie was our Winx at the Valley last night!!!
