It has been instant success for Mitch Beer Racing since the move to Albury in September with three winners over the month including the time honoured Cootamundra Cup last Sunday.

Rarer Than Rubies kicked off the month in fine style by winning at Wodonga in effortless fashion showing she has an extremely bright future and will be a force to reckon with in next years autumn carnival.

Rarer Than Rubies is by the ever green and champion Victorian stallion in Bel Esprit and was bred by our very own loyal client and friend in Susan Zeitz’s who was on cloud nine after the fillies victory.

Seven days later Vivendi broke his maiden status at Corowa taking out the 1200m maiden in good fashion under the guidance of top local hoop in Nick Heywood.

Vivendi was having her first start for MBR and now placed up on the border in her right grade I’m sure we can see more victories from the Equiano mare.

Capping off a great September was the victory of the ever consistent mare Dreams Of Paris in the Cootamundra Cup.

Dreams Of Paris was brilliantly ridden by Nick Heywood gaining a freakish run along the rails to score a convincing win and running away on the line.

With the Mornington stable now fully closed and Albury up and running there are sure to be plenty of more winners over the coming months!
