Well what can you say about What A Hoot, an old marvel certainly fits the sums it up!
In career best form, What A Hoot made it three wins from his last four starts (the other yielding a third) taking out the BM65 scamper over 1000m also showing the reverse way of going at Albury does not stand in his way.
What A Hoot was really challenged at the 300m mark but under hard riding by Nikita Beriman who has a real affinity with the horse now, was pulling away on the line to score another comfortable victory.
Trainer Mitch Beer was absolutely thrilled with the win as the six year old had been quite frustrating when first arriving to the stable but now (Beer) he has found the key to the horse, all are reaping the rewards.
Hooty will now head to the spelling paddock as he does not appreciate heavy tracks and why not send the old fellow out on a high and full of confidence.
We look forward to the stable favourite returning for a strong spring/summer campaign!
