Up and coming stayer Shinseki gave nothing else a chance at Leeton this afternoon winning the Maiden/Class 1 Plate over 1900m by over 4.5 lengths.
The son of Sebring has really hit his straps since arriving to the Mitch Beer yard and really looks to have a bright future as a stayer around the Riverina area.
Ridden by top local hoop in Nick Heywood, Shinseki was always travelling well in the run and once he unleashed at the top of the straight he ran away to score easily.
Beer will now give the horse a well earned spell as he had been up for a while and the long term plan is to look at a race like the Albury Gold Cup in late March.
Congratulations to the wining owner in Steve Watkins who has been a loyal and staunch supporter of Mitch Beer Racing from its inception.
We look forward to many more wins from Shinseki!
