<p>He's an extremely professional colt with good length, great depth of girth and a swagger only good horses possess.</p>
<p>We were lucky enough to see him on the farm and at the sales, so he's a colt we know well and knew we wanted from the first day we saw him.<br /><br />He's had a great start to life at B2B Thoroughbreds and has gone back there for a well earned rest before heading to the breakers.</p>

We liked the Deep Field filly we bought at the same sale last year that we've dipped in for another one!<br /><br />This filly was a pleasure to watch parade time and time again, she had a can-do attitude and not a lot phased her.<br /><br />She's out of a 3-time winning mare who's a half-sister to triple Group 3 winner ARTISTRY.<br /><br />The breeder thinks so much of her that they have stayed in for 25%, you won't get a better vote of confidence!

<p style="line-height: 160%; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 16px; line-height: 25.6px;">This is only the third Flying Artie we've had in the stable and we have lofty ambitions for her!&nbsp; Our other 2 by the sire are City Handicap winner <strong>FLYING</strong> <strong>SULTAN</strong> and debut winning <strong>ARTFUL</strong> <strong>PERSUASION</strong>.<br /><br />She is a lovely strong filly with a lot of upside.&nbsp; Post sale she was given a nice break and has just now headed to the breakers.</span></p>
<p style="line-height: 160%; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: 16px; line-height: 25.6px;">She's another filly sourced this year that is already a sibling to two stakes performed horses.&nbsp; She's also a half sister to the very exciting <strong>VIANARRA</strong> who was 3rd in the Magic Millions 2yo Classic and subsequently 2nd in a 2yo Handicap at Randwick.&nbsp;</span></p>

Flying Artie x Vinavion

<div>He's a horse that was originally&nbsp;trained at Kembla and has since moved a couple of times.&nbsp; He had very consistent city/provincial form but looks to have trained off a bit.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>

<div>We think he'll appreciate a step down in grade and a change of scenery&nbsp;(well a change but not too unfamiliar for him!).<br /><br />He's had a good break and has just come back into work now.</div>

<div>Most importantly he appreciates the sting out of the track so he'll be back to the races at the right time to take advantage of the wet tracks.</div>

<div>Mitch thinks he could be a strong midweek or country cup level horse in the autumn and winter.</div>

Desert Voice (GB) finished up her quarantine and headed to the yard yesterday with her first day under saddle today.<br /><br />

Import Takes Her First Steps

Kembla Grange Base Taking Shape

<div>We're always looking at ways to improve business at Mitch Beer Racing and the idea of expanding the stable closer to Sydney was floated some 12 months ago.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>

<div>We weighed up many options but with the tremendous prizemoney&nbsp;on offer in NSW, the investment being made in infrastructure and the strength of racing, we landed on Kembla Grange as the perfect place to expand into.</div>

<div>We have been approved for 20 boxes on course and will take possession&nbsp;on October 16 2023 with our Albury base continuing to run as normal.&nbsp; We wanted to make sure our owners were hearing it from us first.</div>

<div>The expansion has been made to allow the yard to take full advantage of the prizemoney&nbsp;on offer at the Sydney metropolitan tracks without it having to be an overnight trip.&nbsp; These last two winters have been extremely challenging from a training point of view and Kembla Grange will give us the best chance of keeping horses fit and healthy with the availability of a synthetic training surface and access to pristine beaches.</div>

<div>We have worked extremely hard to get better quality horses into the stable and we want our owners to have the full benefit of racing for the best prizemoney&nbsp;on offer.&nbsp; Continuing to have our Albury base open means that we still have the flexibility to race south of the border and around the Southern Districts of NSW.</div>
